When I was informed that my hair would start falling out in two weeks after I started my chemo treatments, I knew I needed to get a few wigs.  In my area, we are very limited to shops we could go to buy them. So I started checking around and found a
company that does mail order. The catalogs are shipped quickly to you, the styles are very modern and they have a great selection to choose from. I recommend that you pick a hair style you like, take the catalog to your hair cutter and ask her to cut/style your hair to match the wig you are ordering. That way, when your hair starts to fall out, you can easily put on your wig and no one will know the difference! I was so pleased with the quality of the wigs I bought, that I ordered several. And I received so many compliments on the "Way I cut my hair" that it really boosted my moral. No one knew it was a wig!
We know how difficult it can be running between doctor appointments and trying to get your everyday things done all in the mere 24 hours we're given. So we've put a few sites here that you will be able to check out from the privacy of your own home. If you can't find something you are looking for, just email me, and I'll try to find it for you.
Paula Young  is one of the top notch wig companies that I know of. They have a large variety
of wigs for you to choose from.  The maintenance is easy. Just wash the wig, lightly towel dry
and place it on a wig stand and lightly comb. They hold the style beautifully. I  recommend you
order your wig from them. They have over several styles of wigs, falls and  3/4 caps to choose
from. From short to long, straight to curly, go blonde, brunette or redhead.  There's something
there for every budget.
This is a wonderful company to order from if you're looking for hats and scarves to cover your
head. They have several different varieties to choose from. Hats are available in women's,
mens, teens and children's sizes. Your items will ship the very next day.

If you've been informed that your chemo treatment will cause you to lose your hair, then you
can expect to lose your eyebrows and eyelashes too. I found a great site for them.
Headcovers unlimited has some of the best looking eyelashes available. Don't purchase any
packages of individual lashes. They need to be attached onto existing lashes and you won't
be able to do that. You need to get the lashes that have the strip already attached to them.
Here you'll find them with a clear strip to make them look more natural. They also carry
eyebrows.

Here's a company that has the largest selection of mastectomy bras that I've ever seen.
I would recommend that you get a proper fitting first, so the bras you buy will fit you
beautifully. And you want to look as natural as you possibly can.
